SEC. 65-3-25. Addition to state highway system; Laws, 1971, ch. 425.
The mileage of the section of highway hereinafter specifically designated is in addition to the total mileage limitation of eight thousand six hundred miles which is set out in section 65-3-3.
The following connecting section of highway is hereby designated as a part of the state highway system and shall be placed under the jurisdiction of the state highway commission for construction and maintenance as hereinafter provided. Such highway and the highways designated in sections 65-3-3 and 65-3-5, and in any and all other laws adding links to the designated state highway system, appearing as section 65-3-3 are declared to be the state highway system of Mississippi:
Central District. Beginning at present Mississippi Highway No. 467 in Raymond, Mississippi, and proceeding northeasterly on Federal Aid secondary route to the county road intersecting the Natchez Trace Parkway with terminus at the John Bell Williams Airport, a distance of approximately three miles.
The state highway commission is hereby authorized to maintain, construct, take over and assume jurisdiction of the above-designated highway in the same manner and upon the same terms and conditions as set out in sections 65-1-75, 65-3-3, 65-9-1, and 65-9-3.
