SEC. 65-3-81. Deletions from the state highway system; Laws 1980, chs. 345, 405, 538, 539.
The following highway is hereby deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the state highway commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the board of supervisors of Copiah County:
Southern District-Copiah County:
That portion of Mississippi Highway 548 in Copiah County in Section 32, Township 2 North, Range 4 West, and in Section 5, Township 10 North, Range 6 East, a distance of approximately one mile. [Laws, 1980, ch. 539]
The following links of highways in Lowndes County, Mississippi, are hereby deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the state highway commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the board of supervisors of Lowndes County:
Northern District-Route 378, Lowndes County:
Beginning at the intersection of U. S. Highway 45 in the NW 1 /4 , Section 27, T16S, R18W, and extending Northeasterly through Sections 27, 22, 23, 14, and 13; continue thence easterly through section 18 and 14, and to the approximate center of Section 17, T16S, R17W; thence Northeasterly approximately one-half mile to the Corporate limits of Caledonia, Mississippi; thence east approximately one-half mile within said corporate limits; thence North approximately one-half mile to the center of Section 9, T16S, R17W; thence Northeasterly through Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and 1, T16S, R17W, thence continue Northeasterly through Section 6, T16S, R16W, to the intersection of Mississippi Highway No. 12 near the Mississippi-Alabama line.
Northern District-Route 375, Lowndes County:
Beginning at or near Mullins Wells at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 12 in the SE 1 /4 , Section 25, T17S, R18W, and extending Northerly through Sections 25, 24, 13, 12, and 1; continue thence Northerly through Section 36, T16S, R18W; thence Northeasterly through Sections 31, 30, 29, 20, and 16 to its intersection with formerly designated State Route 378 within the corporate limits of Caledonia, Mississippi. The following link of highway in Tippah County, Mississippi, is hereby deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the state highway commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the board of supervisors of Tippah County, Mississippi:
Northern District-Tippah County:
Beginning at the Tippah-Benton County line on the west side of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 2 East; thence through Sections 22, 27, 26, 35 36; continuing through Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 2 East, and continuing through Sections 6 and 7, Township 5 South, Range 3 East, to a junction with Mississippi State Highway Number 2 in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, a distance of approximately 5.1 miles. Union County
The following highway is hereby deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the state highway commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the board of supervisors of Union County:
Northern District-Union County:
Jericho-Graham Road which begins at the intersection of the present Jericho-Graham Road with Mississippi Highway 9 near the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 6 South, Range 5 East, and runs southeasterly along present road to Jericho Community near the southeast corner of Section 34, Township 6 South, Range 5 East, a distance of approximately 3.2 miles.
