SEC. 41-3-19. Report to the governor.
[This section was reenacted without change by Laws, 1995, ch. 363, Sec. 9, eff from and after July 1, 1995. Since the language of the section as it appears in the parent volume is unaffected by the reenactment, it is not reprinted in this supplement as directed by the State Attorney General.] It is the duty of the State Board of Health to make a report, in writing, to the Governor, on or before the first day of December next preceding each session, not an extraordinary session of the Legislature, upon the sanitary condition, prospect, and needs of the state, setting forth the action of said board, of its officers and agents, the names thereof, and all its expenditures since the last preceding report, and such other matters as it may deem proper for the promotion of health or the prevention of disease. The report shall be laid before the Legislature by the Governor at its ensuing term.
