SEC. 37-19-33. Allotments for payment of retirement and Social Security contributions.

In addition to the allowances provided in Sections 37-19-5 through 37-19-31, the State Department of Education may allot to each school district an amount to cover and pay the employer's part of the public employees' retirement and Social Security. The allowance under this section shall be based upon the current rate applied to each funding element except for transportation which shall be the amount appropriated for salaries. In the event a rate changes during the fiscal year, the State Department of Education shall apportion the allowance under this section by the number of days of the regular school term occurring in each rate period.
