SEC. 45-39-15. County wide crime stoppers programs.
The boards of supervisors are authorized to establish county wide crime stoppers programs in conformity with regulations promulgated by the council. The boards of supervisors are authorized to fund such county crime stoppers programs from the general fund of the county or any other available source. This chapter shall not repeal or effect any local and private act establishing a county or local crime stoppers program providing for the operation and funding of such program.
