SEC. 73-23-45. Disposition of fees and monies received; audit of financial records.
All licensure fees and other monies collected and received by the department under this chapter shall be used exclusively for the purpose of implementing the provisions of this chapter. The financial records of the department in connection with this chapter shall be audited annually by the State Auditor. All fees and other monies collected and received by the department under this chapter shall be deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the department, and disbursement shall be made only upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer upon requisitions signed by the Executive Director of the State Board of Health.
