SEC. 27-47-17. Sale to pay assignment.

When any tax collector shall have been notified by the holder of any assignment executed under the provisions of this chapter, to collect the same, it shall be the duty of such tax collector to immediately advertise the property embraced in such assignment in the same manner as is now provided by law for the sale of lands for delinquent taxes; but no action by the board of supervisors shall be necessary as a condition precedent to such legal sale of said land.

The owner or owners or mortgagee or other lien holder of any land so sold to satisfy such assignment, shall have all the rights of redemption that are now provided by law.
