SEC. 27-47-23. Cancellation of lien on part of property.
In case two or more items of real estate are included in the tax covered by one certificate, any lien holder of any items of said property shall be entitled to a cancellation of the lien of the certificate of assignment against the property on which he has a lien if he will before a tax sale under said certificate pay to the last recorded owner of said certificate the amount applicable to the personal property included in the tax referred to by said certificate, plus the pro rata part of the face value of said certificate applicable to the property on which release is desired, plus interest on the foregoing at the rate of six per cent per annum.
