SEC. 7-1-355. Administration of Workforce Investment Act programs.
The Mississippi Development Authority is hereby designated as the sole administrator of all programs for which the state is the prime sponsor under Title 1(B) of Public Law 105-220 of the federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998, or its successor, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, and is hereby authorized to take all necessary action to secure to this state the benefits of such legislation. The Mississippi Development Authority is empowered to receive and disburse funds for such programs which become available to it from any source.
