SEC. 71-3-159. Workers' compensation self-insurer guaranty association.
There is created a nonprofit unincorporated legal entity to be known as the "Mississippi Workers' Compensation Self-insurer Guaranty Association." All self-insurers shall be and remain members of the association as a condition of their authority under Section 71-3-75, Mississippi Code of 1972. The association shall perform its functions under a plan of operation established and approved under Section 71-3-165 and shall exercise its powers through a board of directors established under Section 71-3-161.
