MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972

SEC. 1-5-1. Printing of general, local and private laws.

(1) Until July 1, 1998, the Office of the Secretary of State shall provide for the complete, accurate and timely printing of the general laws and the local and private laws passed at each session of the Legislature.

(2) From and after July 1, 1998, the Joint Committee on Compilation, Revision and Publication of Legislation shall contract with a publishing company for the printing of the general laws and the local and private laws passed at each session of the Legislature, after consideration of recommendations of the Secretary of State.
