SEC. 19-5-161. Costs.
All costs incident to the publication of the notices and all other costs incident to the public hearing and election provided in sections 19-5-153 to 19-5-157 may be paid by the board of supervisors, in its discretion, or shall be borne by the parties filing the petition, detailed in section 19-5-153. The board of supervisors, in its discretion, may require the execution of a cost bond by the parties filing the petition. Such bond shall be in an amount and with good sureties to guarantee the payment of such costs.
