SEC. 27-3-25. Districts.
The state is hereby divided into two taxing districts as follows:
The counties of Warren, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton and Lauderdale, and those counties lying south thereof, shall constitute the southern taxing district, and those counties lying north of the above named counties shall constitute the northern taxing district.
