SEC. 37-37-8. Requirement of actual count of students by examiners; requirement that audits be conducted without advance notice; minimum number of audits during scholastic year.
In carrying out the duties and powers prescribed by Sections 37-37-3 and 37-37-7, the examiners shall make an actual count of students each time they visit a school unless extraordinary circumstances such as a natural disaster or fire warrant a postponement. No advance notice shall be given to a school when an audit is scheduled to be conducted. At least three (3) audits shall be made of each school during each scholastic year under the provisions of this chapter.
