MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972
As Amended

SEC. 41-17-11. Furnishing of care for veterans.

The director of the State Insane Hospital at Whitfield and the director of the East Mississippi State Hospital shall be, and each is hereby authorized to receive any moneys that the United States government may offer as federal aid in taking care of and giving special attention to those persons who served with the armed forces of the United States during the war against Germany and her allies, and who are now in, or may hereafter be in said insane hospitals. Each of said directors is hereby authorized to expend that part of said money paid to him or his hospital as aforesaid, according to his best judgment and the requirements of the United States government under which said money is received.
