SEC. 41-19-155. Penalties.

Any person who: (1) under the provisions of sections 41-19-141 to 41-19-157 knowingly and unlawfully or improperly causes a person to be adjudged mentally retarded; (2) procures the escape of a legally committed resident or knowingly conceals an escaped legally committed resident of the center; or (3) unlawfully brings any firearm, deadly weapon or explosive into the center or its grounds or passes any thereof to a resident, employee or officer of the center is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or both.
