SEC. 41-41-103. Definitions.
For purposes of Secs. 41-41-101 et seq., the following words shall have the meaning ascribed herein unless the context otherwise requires:
(a) "Physician" shall mean a person licensed to practice medicine in any state in the United States of America.
(b) "Withdrawal of life-sustaining mechanisms" shall mean the cessation of use of extraordinary techniques and applications, including mechanical devices, which prolong life through artificial means.
