SEC. 49-17-162. Change of name of district; retention of powers and duties.
(1) The Southern Regional Wastewater Management District shall be the Waveland Regional Wastewater Management District and shall retain all powers and duties granted by law to the Waveland Regional Wastewater Management District.
(2) Wherever the term "Waveland Regional Wastewater Management District" appears in any law, it shall be construed to mean the Southern Regional Wastewater Management District.
