SEC. 49-20-21. Vote of security acquired in contravention of chapter invalid; acquisition of security void.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, no vote by the stockholder of record, or by any other person, of any security acquired in contravention of the provisions of this chapter is valid. Any acquisition of any security contrary to the provisions of this chapter is void. The river timberlands company need not for any purpose recognize the vote of any person with respect to any security acquired in contravention of the provisions of this chapter, or otherwise recognize such acquisition in any way.
