SEC. 49-20-25. Filing fee; costs of investigations and hearings; assistance of other agencies; contracts for consultative services.
The Secretary of State shall charge a filing fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each statement filed under this chapter. In addition to such filing fee, the person filing such statement shall pay all investigative costs incurred by the Secretary of State in evaluating the statement, and investigating the proposed acquisition. Any costs incurred by the Secretary of State in conducting any hearing pursuant to Section 49-20-15 shall be paid by the party requesting such hearing. Other agencies within the state shall assist the Secretary of State, where so requested, in carrying out the intents and purposes of this chapter. The Secretary of State shall also identify, coordinate and contract with consultative services to the extent necessary to effectuate the purposes of this chapter.
