SEC. 51-17-21. Park and recreation facilities.

The Big Black River Basin District is authorized and empowered to establish or otherwise provide for public parks and recreation facilities and for the preservation of fish and wildlife, and to acquire land otherwise than by condemnation for such purposes. This power shall not limit the power of condemnation provided for in subsection (d) of section 51-17-17.
