SEC. 57-39-201. Authorization of loans for implementation of school energy conservation programs.
(1) Any public school district in the State of Mississippi is hereby authorized and empowered to seek and obtain loans from the Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose of implementing school energy conservation programs.
(2) This loan program is designed to assist public school districts to modify certain school buildings that are determined to be energy-inefficient.
