SEC. 65-23-117. Validation of bonds.
Any bonds authorized under authority of this article may in the discretion of the state highway commission, be validated in the chancery court of Hinds County, Mississippi, in the manner and with the force and effect provided now or hereafter by sections 31-13-1 to 31-13-11, Mississippi Code of 1972 for the validation of municipal bonds. The necessary papers shall be transmitted to the state's bond attorney by the secretary of the commission, and the required notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Jackson, Mississippi.
