SEC. 67-3-47. Unauthorized use of labels or markings of identification prohibited.

The commissioner shall provide suitable labels or markings of identification for the purpose of taxation of beer inspected and authorized by the commissioner to be sold, and shall require the use thereof by vendors. The use of any such labels or markings of identification by any one other than a licensee or a person entitled to the use thereof, shall be a misdemeanor and be punished as hereinafter provided in this chapter.

1997 Amendment

SECTION 13. Section 67-3-47, Mississippi Code of 1972, which requires the State Tax Commission to provide suitable labels or markings of identification for the purpose of taxation of beer inspected and authorized by the commission to be sold, and prohibits the unauthorized use of such labels, is repealed.
