SEC. 75-31-135. Regulation of products similar to frozen desserts.

Any food product which has the semblance of frozen desserts as defined in section 75-31-127 but which does not conform to the definition of such products, whether in frozen, powdered or liquid mix form, shall be subject to inspection, order of stop sale, and the licensing, manufacturing, sanitation, bacteriological and health standards required in sections 75-31-125 through 75-31-151 for frozen desserts. Such food products shall be labeled with an accurate ingredient legend.

1997 Amendment

Sections 75-31-125 through 75-31-151, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provide for the Mississippi Frozen Desserts Act of 1982, are repealed.
