MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972

SEC. 75-33-101. Labeling of imported meats required.

Any person, firm, or corporation who sells or offers for sale in the State of Mississippi, through packing houses, meat markets, stores, or otherwise, any meats, meat-foods, either fresh, canned, frozen or cured, which are products of any foreign country to the United States, shall so identify each product with a label or sign indicating that it is imported meat.

1997 Amendment

Sections 75-33-101, 75-33-103, 75-33-105, 75-33-107, 75-33-109 and 75-33-111, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provide for the regulation of meats imported from a foreign country, is hereby repealed.
