SEC. 75-56-27. Penalties.
Any person who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months in jail, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
