SEC. 77-9-33. Penalty.
Any officer, agent, or representative of any company, corporation, association or firm, or any other person who shall violate any of the provisions of sections 77-9-27 to 77-9-31, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars and by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not less than thirty days, nor more than one year. Any bond, contract, or undertaking made in violation of said provisions shall be void.
