SEC. 79-5-33. Securities of corporation subject to Mississippi Securities Law; sale of securities of previously chartered corporations regulated; legal investments.
Shares of the capital stock, bonds, debentures, notes, evidences of indebtedness, or any other securities of this corporation, and the issuance, sale, or transfer thereof, shall be subject to sections 75-71-1 to 75-71-57, being the Mississippi Securities Law.
The further offer or sale of securities by corporations heretofore chartered under the provisions of this chapter shall be regulated under, but not limited to, the provisions of sections 75-71-7, 75-71-9, 75-71-13 and 75-71-27, Mississippi Code of 1972.
All obligations of the corporation shall be legal investments for state-chartered banks and trust companies, mutual savings banks, building and loan associations, and insurance companies.
