MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972

SEC. 83-1-5. Compensation and employees.

[This section was reenacted without change by Laws, 1996, ch. 313, Sec. 3, effective from and after June 30, 1996. Since the language of the section as it appears in the parent volume is unaffected by the reenactment, it is not reprinted in this supplement as directed by the State Attorney General.] The commissioner shall receive a compensation to be fixed by law. He is hereby authorized to employ a clerk and stenographer and an actuary at a salary to be fixed by law; and in addition shall be allowed a sufficient sum for traveling expenses and for extra clerical help.
