SEC. 83-1-17. Laws enforced by suit.

[This section was reenacted without change by Laws, 1996, ch. 313, Sec. 9, effective from and after June 30, 1996. Since the language of the section as it appears in the parent volume is unaffected by the reenactment, it is not reprinted in this supplement as directed by the State Attorney General.] Compliance with the provisions of this title as to deposits, obligations, prohibitions, and the payment of taxes, fees, and penalties by and upon foreign insurance companies or other insurers may be enforced by the commissioner by suit in the name of the state.
