SEC. 93-11-19. How duties of support are enforced; jurisdiction of proceedings.

All duties of support are enforceable by a petition irrespective of relationship between the obligor and obligee. Jurisdiction of all proceedings hereunder shall be vested in the chancery court of the county in Mississippi wherein the respondent may be domiciled, live, reside or be found, when proceedings are as responding jurisdiction or state; and jurisdiction of all proceedings hereunder shall be vested in the chancery court of the county in Mississippi wherein one or more of the dependents shall be domiciled, live, reside, or be found, when proceedings are as initiating jurisdiction or state; and any proceedings authorized under Sections 93-11-1 through 93-11-63 may be heard in termtime or in vacation.
